2024 La Raza Youth Leadership Conference

Now. more than ever, our youth need YOU! 

Gun violence, suicide and depression, cyberbullying, LGBTQ+ bashing, binge drinking, and isolation have become a norm for our youth at a time when one should be learning, growing, playing, exploring, and developing into adulthood.  

It is up to US to step up and provide support for our youth and to unlock the strength, hope, resiliency, and potential that has become buried underneath the muck of discrimination, poverty, lack of self-esteem, and disconnection from their cultural identity. 

We need YOUR HELP to raise scholarship funds and event support funds.

Our talented La Raza Youth graduates have service in their hearts and are eager to pursue higher education.

But with the cost of rent, food, utilities, and just living life -- the ability to pursue continued education is out of reach financially.

La Raza Youth Leadership Program provides Chicanx/Latinx* high school students, grades 9 -12, with an opportunity to achieve their full leadership potential by participating in an intensive leadership program. The mission of La Raza Youth Leadership Program is to empower Chicanx/Latinx* youth to achieve their educational and leadership potential and instill the desire to give back to the Latino Community.

La Raza Youth Leadership Program believes in social justice, quality education, human rights, environmental justice worldwide, and the advancement of the Latino community.

Again, without support from donors like you, many of our talented youth will not be able to reach their full potential.

For a La Raza Youth participant to be eligible, he/she/they must...

• be a high school senior and express interest in higher education;

• attend the La Raza Youth Conference in the fall; and

• submit the La Raza Youth Leadership Program Scholarship Application.
