$5,000 goal

In collaboration with The Kitchen Community and the Cottonwood Institute, both 501(c)3 organizations, New Vista High School in Boulder, CO has the opportunity to be one of the first high schools in the country to have one of The Kitchen Community's Learning Gardens.

The funds raised will be used at New Vista to hire a garden coordinator who will integrate garden programming and gardening curriculum into students' every day lives! Do you want to see... more students outside, connected with their food system, exploring plant biology and more… Then help us reach our goal!

Learning Gardens are an easy, affordable, and scaleable school garden system designed to be an extension of the classroom that have been designed to help decrease childhood obesity, improve academic performance, and strengthen communities.

The Earth Task Force (ETF) is a Cottonwood Institute-supported program at New Vista High School designed to give students an opportunity to take the lead to address local environmental issues at their school and in the local community.
